Cart & Purchase Order Workflow
The cart in Peasy lets you build orders for multiple vendors at once and submit them all together. Each step below has a Show me button that lights up the compass on the matching control so you can see exactly where it lives.
The compasses appear on the Items page and inside the cart panel — open the cart from the top right of the Items page to see the panel-level steps.
The tour
1. Go to the Items page
The cart workflow lives on the Items page — that's where you add products to your cart before submitting a purchase order.
2. Open the cart panel
The Cart button lives in the top right of the Items page. Click it (or its icon) to open the cart panel — the badge shows how many items are in your cart.
3. Add an item to the cart
Hover any item row and click the shopping-cart icon to add it to your cart with a quantity of 1. Click again on the same row to bump the quantity. On mobile the cart icon is always visible.
4. Edit quantities
Inside the cart panel, edit the quantity directly with the +/- buttons or by typing a new value. Set the quantity to 0 to remove the line. You can also edit the cart quantity from the Cart Qty column on the Items table.
5. Edit unit cost
Click the unit-cost field on any cart line to override your stored item cost for this order. Useful when supplier pricing differs from your catalog (negotiated discounts, seasonal pricing, etc).
6. Global email toggle
The cart-level email toggle in the cart footer disables every supplier email for this batch in one click — overrides the per-supplier toggles above. Handy for draft orders and internal review.
7. Create purchase orders
Click Create Purchase Orders in the cart footer to turn your active cart into one purchase order per supplier × location. Pinned "Later" orders are not included. The cart clears automatically on success.
Tips
- Each cart line is grouped by supplier and receiving location, so you can build orders for several locations at once.
- Use the per-supplier email toggles to keep some orders as drafts while emailing others.
- Pinned (Later) orders stay in the cart but are excluded from the next submit.
