Welcome to Peasy

Welcome! This guide walks you through the parts of the Peasy interface you'll use every day. Each step below has a Show me button that lights up the compass on the matching element so you can see exactly where it lives.

The compass icons appear on every page, so you can run through this tour from anywhere — there's no need to navigate to a particular screen first.

The tour

1. Beacon — your launcher and help button

Beacon is the floating bar at the bottom-center of every page. Click it (or press ⌘K / Ctrl+K) to search, run command actions, browse help docs, or chat with our team.

2. Breadcrumb navigation

The breadcrumb bar at the top of every page shows where you are in the app and lets you jump back to parent pages.

3. Expand the navigation sidebar

The sidebar starts collapsed to icons. Click the toggle just left of the breadcrumb to expand it — the rest of the welcome tour points at the sidebar items, and they only show their compass icons (and labels) once the sidebar is open.

4. Inventory

Track your stock levels, count inventory, view history, and manage transfers between locations.

5. Buy

Manage your purchasing: browse items to buy, track suppliers, and view purchase orders.

6. Receive

Process incoming shipments. See pending items waiting to be received and review your receiving history.

7. Make

Create product templates (recipes/assemblies) and manage work orders for items you manufacture.

8. Sell

Manage your sales: track customers, create orders, browse your catalog, manage catalogs for custom pricing, and process incoming requests in your Inbox.

Explore the sidebar

• Click each family to see what pages are available
• Use red badges as a guide to what needs attention
• You can always return to the home page via breadcrumbs

Use Beacon liberally

• Press ⌘K / Ctrl+K from anywhere to open Beacon
• Search by name, jump to any page, or run actions directly
• Ask questions and get answers grounded in your data

Learn the keyboard shortcuts
