Welcome! This lay-of-the-land tour walks you through the parts of the Peasy interface you'll use every day. Each step below has a Show me button that lights up the compass on the matching element so you can see exactly where it lives.
The compass icons appear on every page, so you can run through this tour from anywhere — there's no need to navigate to a particular screen first.
The tour
1. Ask anything — your launcher and help button
On desktop, the Ask anything button sits at the bottom of the navigation sidebar. Click it (or press Cmd/Ctrl+K) to search, navigate, run actions, or ask questions. On phones, Home has its own Ask anything box for direct questions, and the ? button in the top-right bar opens Peasy Support from Home or any other page.
2. Breadcrumb navigation
The breadcrumb bar at the top of every page shows where you are in the app and lets you jump back to parent pages.
3. Expand the navigation sidebar
The sidebar starts collapsed to icons. On desktop, click the > handle on the sidebar's right edge to expand it (you can also drag that edge to resize the sidebar) — the rest of the sidebar tour points at the sidebar items, and they only show their compass icons (and labels) once the sidebar is open.
4. To-Dos
Open To-Dos when you want to understand what needs attention. Inventory queue items account for pending transactions and appear when projected stock falls below the restock point.
5. Inventory
Track your stock levels, count inventory, view history, and manage transfers between locations.
6. Buy
Manage your purchasing: browse items to buy, track suppliers, and view purchase orders.
7. Receive
Process incoming shipments. See pending items waiting to be received and review your receiving history.
8. Make
Create product templates (recipes/assemblies) and manage work orders for items you manufacture.
9. Sell
Manage your sales: track customers, create orders, browse your catalog, manage catalogs for custom pricing, and process incoming requests in your Inbox.
10. Configure
Customize your setup: manage categories, custom fields, locations, and other settings to tailor Peasy to your business.
Tips for getting started
Explore the sidebar
- Click each family to see what pages are available
- Use red badges as a guide to what needs attention
- You can always return to the home page via breadcrumbs
Use Beacon liberally
- Press
Cmd/Ctrl+Kfrom anywhere to open Ask anything - Search by name, jump to any page, or run actions directly
- Ask a conversational question there to continue in Beacon, or send it directly from the Home page's question box
- On compact screens outside Home, click the
?button in the breadcrumb bar to open Peasy Support - Click the compass icon next to Beacon to turn on Compass guides for a topic — markers light up on the related UI elements with short explanations. Tap Hide tips to turn them off.
