Purchase Orders Management

The Purchase Orders page is your command center for tracking POs from creation through delivery. Each step below has a Show me button that lights up the compass on the matching control so you can see exactly where it lives.

Most compasses live on the PO list. The detail panel compasses appear once you click a PO number to open it.

The tour

1. Go to the Purchase Orders page

Submitted and directly created purchase orders, their statuses, and delivery info live on the Purchase Orders page. Orders that are still in Cart or Later stay in the cart instead.

Open the Purchase Orders page

2. The Purchase Orders table

All submitted and directly created purchase orders in one place. Track status, delivery dates, and shipping info — click any row to open the detail panel.

3. Location column

The warehouse or facility where each PO will be received. You can also filter the whole list to a single location at the top right.

4. Status column

Track each order's progress: Created, Sent, Confirmed, Partially Received, Received, or Cancelled. Draft and Pinned orders stay in Cart and Later. Receiving items automatically advances the status, and you can also click the status to change it manually.

5. Order Date & ETA

Order Date shows when the PO was placed, and ETA shows when you expect delivery. Click either one to edit it inline from the table.

6. Filter by location

If you have multiple locations, use the dropdown at the top right to view orders for a specific warehouse or facility.

7. The PO detail panel

Click any PO number to open its detail panel. View and edit items, quantities, costs, and receiving status. Your hub for managing one purchase order.

8. Receive all items

Click Receive Order in the detail panel to jump to the receiving page pre-filtered to this PO. The fastest way to receive an entire shipment in one go.

Tips

  • ETA changes propagate to the receive page's "Due" view.
  • You can receive partial quantities — the PO stays open until all items are received.
  • Use Receive when a shipment arrives. Changing the Status field by itself does not record received quantities or increase inventory.
  • Use saved views to switch between common filter combinations (open POs, this week's deliveries, etc).
