Reviewing and Sending Outbox Emails

The Outbox holds email drafts that Peasy prepares for you to review. Drafts are never sent automatically—you can edit each message and decide when to send it.

How to Get There

Click Outbox near the top of the sidebar. You can also open a linked vendor credit request from a receipt's three-dot menu in Receive > Received Logs.

Review a Draft

  1. Select a message from the list on the left. The subject appears in bold, with a preview of the message below it.
  2. Review the To, CC, and BCC recipients.
  3. Edit the Subject if needed.
  4. Click the message body to edit it. For receiving credit requests, the requested-credit line shows the rejected quantity multiplied by the per-unit cost.
  5. Review any evidence listed under Attachments.
  6. Click Save draft to keep your changes, or click Send to save and send the message.

For a receiving credit request, click View receiving record in the header to return to the receipt that created the draft.

Find a Message

Use the filter in the Outbox header to show all messages or only Draft, Sent, or Failed messages. Click Load more at the bottom when more messages are available.

Failed Emails

If an email cannot be sent, it stays in the Outbox with a Failed badge and an explanation. Review the message, correct anything that needs changing, and click Send to try again.

Discard a Draft

Open an unsent draft and click Discard when you no longer need it. Discarded messages are removed from the normal Outbox list.

Good to Know

  • Peasy currently creates Outbox drafts for credit requests tied to rejected receipts. Closing an undelivered quantity as short does not create a credit request.
  • Evidence added while recording a rejection appears as an attachment on the draft.
  • Sent messages are read-only in the Outbox.
