Alert

GlossaryUpdated July 2, 2026 ยท Reviewed by Peasy Team

An alert is a notification that something needs your attention. In Peasy, alerts appear in To-Dos in the sidebar and cover reorder alerts, template gap warnings, tasks, notes, inventory count reminders, and other actionable items.

How It Works in Peasy

  • View alerts by clicking To-Dos in the sidebar
  • Alert types include: reorder alerts (low stock), template gap alerts (can't produce), inventory counts due, integration issues, and more
  • Each alert links to the relevant record so you can take action immediately
  • Alerts can be snoozed for later
  • New alerts contribute to the To-Dos badge count
  • Alerts auto-resolve when the underlying condition is fixed (for example, stock returns above restock point)

Why It Matters

Alerts are Peasy's way of proactively telling you what needs attention without you having to go looking. They surface problems early, before you run out of stock, before a production run stalls, or before inventory counts are overdue.
