A packing slip is a document included with a shipment that lists the items and quantities being sent. In Peasy, packing slips are generated from sales orders and help your warehouse team pick and pack correctly.
How It Works in Peasy
- Print from the order's printer menu at any stage. Before a fulfillment exists, Packing Slip creates one complete-order pick list. After fulfillment starts, the PDF contains one slip per active fulfillment plus a final Not yet shipped page when quantities remain open. Cancelled fulfillments are excluded, and the remainder page disappears when the order is fully fulfilled.
- To print several orders together, select them on Sell > Sales Orders, open Print in the floating toolbar, and choose Packing Slips. Peasy combines every selected order's pages into one PDF.
- Each line shows the quantity Ordered alongside blank Packed and Lot/Batch columns, so your team can check off what they actually pack by hand
- A summary line totals the slip ("3 lines · 12 units") as a quick reconcile against what's in the box
- They do not include pricing — they're for the warehouse, not the customer's accounting department
- When a slip represents a fulfillment, it fills in that fulfillment's real packed quantities, lot numbers, ship date, carrier, and tracking number
Why It Matters
Packing slips reduce shipping errors by giving your team a clear checklist of what goes in each box. They also serve as a receipt for the customer to verify what they received matches what was shipped.
